My name is Ben (a.k.a. MaddHat or MadHatter).  I’m a geek living in the midwest studying Management of Information Systems.  I am interested in many things technical related.  This blog includes a compilation of thing I have found interesting regarding technology and/or photography.

I setup this blog for two reasons – one is to showcase some of my photography while staying in control of layout, style, and quality of the photos posted.  The second is to give my input to technical topics I find interest in.  I am constantly involved with different projects with linux, scripting, etc. and find myself searching blogs for answers to many of my questions along the way.  I find this blog as a way to give back and post my findings on issues I encounter, or to better document things that I had trouble finding myself.  I don’t claim to be an expert on any of the topics I post about, they are merely the solutions I have found to work for me.  Hopefully a few can find my posts helpful when they run into troubles or are interested in a subject.
